New Hampshire State Representative Nancy Elliott (a Republican, surprise! surprise!) has been attacking her state’s gay marriage law which was recently passed last summer. Her first tactic is to describe anal sex, which Ms. Elliott apparently thinks is a gay-only form of copulation. Then, in a fashion similar to the crazed Ugandan pastor behind the kill-the-gays bill who screened shit-fetish porn in public, Ms. Elliott begins describing anal sex, saying a man sticks his penis in an anus and starts “wriggling it around in excrement.” (Straight women don’t have poop in their buttholes.) Finally, when the audience appears unmoved by her graphic description, she uses the number-one anti-gay trump card that is utterly false: gays are after your kids! They are going to teach them that it’s okay to be gay, and this will be so tempting that all our children will go gay! How do hateful bigots like this get elected to public office in 21st century America?
UPDATE: The original video in it’s entirety has been made private on Youtube, and the other clips of it have been removed for terms of use violation. Bizarre. So here’s a small clip of it. The original was several minutes long. I will try to find the full clip somewhere else.
