This disturbing video from Marin County, California shows Peter McFarland being tasered three times by police as he laid on the floor of his living room. McFarland and his wife were returning to their home one evening when he fell on the stairs. An ambulance came and helped him inside, when the sheriff showed up. They came into his home for no apparent reason and insisted on taking him to the hospital. When he refused, then began to taser him again and again as he screamed in pain on the floor.
The arrogant abuse of power by police just makes my blood curdle. As citizens we must maintain constant vigilance over those we entrust with protecting us, or they will quickly abuse that power to serve their own malicious ends. Cops think since they have a badge and a gun, they are above the law. They are not.
