Rogue Leader’s Wedge Antilles has made a fabulously awesome map of the United States that replaces each state with a planet from the Star Wars galaxy. This shows some serious geek dedication, which just makes me so happy.
She also lists all the planets and their corresponding states for those who can’t recognize them by sight. Her choices are pithy and sometimes hysterical. I think my favorites are Arizona as Korriban, Texas as Kessel, and South Carolina as the Death Star. Hilarious! As for my home state of Louisiana? Ord Mantell, which is a bit of a miss. There isn’t a mountain (and hardly even a hill) anywhere in sight across the state. Oh well, it still rocks!
