The vile and disgusting anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church, led by the obscene Rev. Fred Phelps, has announced their plans to picket the funerals of the six people murdered during the assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
In a statement posted on the group’s website, the cultish group said:
THANK GOD FOR THE SHOOTER — 6 DEAD
God appointed this rod for your sins! God sent the shooter! This hateful nation unleashed violent veterans on the servants of God at WBC–hoping to silence our kind warning to obey God and flee the wrath to come.
The statement claims that the shootings was God’s punishment for judicial and Congressional actions against the church.
God sent the shooter to shoot you! And He’s sitting in Heaven laughing at you!
Your federal judge is dead and your (fag-promoting, baby-killing, proud-sinner) Congresswoman fights for her life. God is avenging Himself on this rebellious house! WBC prays for your destruction–more shooters, more dead carcasses piling up, young, old, leader and commoner–all. Your doom is upon you!
I am predicting now that if Phelps and his cult show up to picket the victims of the senseless tragedy, then it will be all that law enforcement can do to prevent this disgusting man from being publicly lynched in the town square.
Enough is enough!
