The 14 Wisconsin Democrats who fled to neighboring Illinois at the outset of Gov. Scott Walker’s “budget repair” bill and attempts to strip public employees of collective bargaining, are widely seen as true heroes. In fact, the rogue politicians have taken on legendary status with protest songs dedicated to their bravado and news outlets seeking them out for interviews.
On Monday night, The Daily Show‘s John Oliver journeyed into Illinois’ savage, frozen territory to track down the missing Democrats.
