This trending online video is of a six-month old Boxer puppy on her daily walk in a local field. On this particular walk, she greets a herd of cows, and after a very brief moment of hesitation, both species submit to one another’s curiosity about the other.
I couldn’t help but look beyond the obvious appeal of this video and see the life lesson for human beings. These two species have nothing to gain from knowing one another. They are neither a threat or a benefit to one another when it comes to just existing. Because of that, they are relaxed and obvious in their appreciation for one another.
