The National Republican Congressional Committee mocks MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow, and that network’s “Lean Forward” campaign, in a new ad that urges President Obama to approve the contentious and challenged Keystone XL Pipeline.
NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay said in a published statement:
“Even Rachel Maddow should be able to understand the benefits of a project like Keystone XL, which not only can help with our country’s energy needs but also has the potential to bring tens of thousands of jobs to a struggling American economy.”
This is another example of Republicans not thinking things through. The right-wing is actually using a liberal media commercial highlighting conservative’s failure to invest in America’s infrastructure, as an argument in support of a pipeline that stands to threaten large sections of America’s water table, while only producing a small fraction of the jobs claimed.
They really do think that most of America is clueless.
