Pat Buchanan Out at MSNBC…Finally!

MSNBC has confirmed that conservative political commentator Pat Buchanan will no longer appear on the news network. The announcement came Thursday following Buchanan’s suspension four months ago after groups complained about racist and anti-semitic language in his book Suicide of a Superpower.

The network said in a statement, ”After ten years, we’ve parted ways with Pat Buchanan. We wish him well.”

Buchanan’s latest book included chapter titles as “The End of White America” and “The Death of Christian America.”

Of course, Pat has chosen to play the typical right-wing victim, claiming in a column on Thursday, ”All the while prattling about their love of dissent and devotion to the First Amendment, they seek systematically to silence and censor dissent.”

Oh, Pat. Racism and intolerance are not acceptable forms of dissent. You’re not a victim but a privileged, white, narrow-minded asshole. There is no First Amendment protection for being a hate monger.
