The American workplace was not always fair or safe. Thanks to collective bargaining, workers were able to come together as a cohesive group and lean on Congress to pass laws that benefited all employees. Unions play a pivotal role both in securing legislated labor protections and rights such as safety and health, overtime, and family/medical leave and in enforcing those rights on the job. Today, we take many of these rights for granted.

    None of these things WORKING PEOPLE can afford to lose. Millions of people have died to make sure we can count on being able to return home from a long day of work SAFELY. ANYONE that does not want these safeguards is NOT A WORKER, BUT A WANNA BE SLAVE MASTER. We have no need for another slave master.
