Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert need to steal the Anonymous tagline, Expect Us, especially when the media screw-ups are so blatant, so obviously wished for by the right-wing punditry.
After the bobbleheads at CNN and Fox News creamed their pants over their own false reporting of the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act, you knew damn well that Stewart and Colbert would be having a field day with it.
Let’s start with Stewart, who concentrated more on CNN’s coverage, and Wolf Blitzer’s characterization of their announcement as a “dramatic moment”:
“Yes! A moment of great drama. And like many of our greatest dramas, a work of complete fiction [...] Yes, widely different. There’s what you’ve been saying, and then…there’s what happened.”

Then it was Colbert’s turn to take a shot at the shoddy reporting of both networks. He took particular exception to Fox’s Stuart Varney, who continued to repeat that the individual mandate “Has. Been. Struck. Down”:
“No. It. Has. Not. You. Suck. At. News.”
Tell us something we didn’t know. He went on to praise the novel idea of “read[ing] the decision before you open your mouths and break a man’s heart!”
That would be a good starting place, Stephen, but we are talking about Fox News…
