Fox News weekend host Heather Childers is under fire from the public and media watchdog group Media Matters after she tweeted on Tuesday: “Thoughts? Did Obama Campaign Threaten Chelsea Clinton’s Life 2 Keep Parents Silent?” The tweet was linked to a blog that believes President Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud.

Fox News host Bret Baier on Monday actually had the nerve to claim that his network has never claimed, hinted or suggested that President Obama is a Muslim. Baier was commenting on the claim in David Corn’s new book, “Showdown,” which the journalist recounts a meeting with the President where Obama allegedly stated that Fox News was responsible for his low rankings among white men because “they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7…”
If a Fox News host starts out by admitting that they have no idea who Cee Lo Green is then that should be your first clue that the opinion they’re about to offer is complete crap. The dips over at the right-wing propaganda machine tried to turn an appearance by the Grammy winner at an Obama fundraiser into something that the president’s supporters should be upset about.

Fox hate mongers Judge Napolitano and Eric Bolling are very close to going the way of Glenn Beck. In a stunning move over the weekend, Fox Business Network cancelled it’s entire primetime lineup, including shows hosted by Napolitano and Bolling, mainly because the “business” channel had become a laughable (if it’s possible) imitation of Fox News. Media watchdogs have long complained that the level of partisan politics on FBN had completely eclipsed actual business reporting.
It took a while, but The Muppets are finally firing back at Fox News for that network’s absurd suggestion that their recent film brainwashed young children against the oil company, big business, and capitalism itself. In the video statement, Kermit responds to Fox’s Eric Boiling’s ridiculous assertion in a dignified manner, while Miss Piggy summarized Boiling’s claim as “almost as laughable as accusing Fox News of being news.”
In their minds, the constant onslaught of Christmas imagery, programming and commercials during the months of November and December is simply not good enough; the salutation of “Happy Holidays” is a slap in the face to their sweet Baby Jesus and an insult to their religion, because, according to them, it’s their world, we’re just living in it.
