Poor Mittens. He can remain calm and cool as long as no one is calling for accountability. The moment the spotlight turns on Romney to answer for his record, he sweats and becomes extremely argumentative and unpredictable.

Due to conservative efforts in recent years to either hijack or pervert events and figures from American history, we decided it was time to occupy more than just physical space, and it’s time to take back our national heritage form the right-wingers.

No Joke! – Fox News actually leads people to be less informed than those who consume no news at all.

In a new video statement just released, the worldwide online collective announced will launch a multi-pronged attack, referred to as ‘Operation Fox Hunt’ on Saturday, November 5, against Fox News, Facebook, the big banks and the Mexican drug cartel. “Since they will not stop ridiculing the occupiers, we will simply shut them down…Fox News, your time has come . . . Operation Fox Hunt. November 5th. May the hunt begin.”

Herman Cain, the ex-pizza guy, who is now under scrutiny for a settlement that took place after allegations of sexual harassment during Cain’s tenure as a lobbyist for the restaurant industry. But Cain has argued that he never sexually harassed anyone or had to settle any sort of sexual harassment complaint – outside that one, pesky incident.

Jon Stewart challenges Fox News’s legal analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano, on his narrow and extremist view that government exists “to take away human freedom.” It is the same divisive and ‘politics of selfishness’ that the extremist faction of the Tea Party has mistakenly embraced as their rallying cry.

The shareholders meeting was not lost on the Occupy Wall Streeters, either, who showed up in droves to protest the media mogul, and who recognize that Murdoch’s American cable channel, Fox News, has been instrumental in the dissemination of disinformation that brought our country’s economy to its knees. Without exception, Fox News has done its level best to promote Wall Street malfeasance, and to cast the Occupy Wall Street protesters in a less than favorable light.
May this be your latest news flash that the “liberal media bias” does not exist, has never existed, and until we get corporate money out of said media, will probably never exist. It’s a grand lie pushed, very effectively, by the right-wing in this country, and they’ve sold it extremely well.

These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power. Our allegiance to American institutions requires the overthrow of this kind of power.

Faux liberal for Fox News Alan Colmes decided to omit the usual Roger Ailes talking points recently and offered his own critique of the Murdoch Machine’s double standard when characterizing the Occupy demonstrators as a “media circus,” while labeling Tea Party protesters as patriotic with noble intentions.

When you finally, truly internalize the injustice of your country, you can’t go back to sleep. Instead, you start re-evaluating how you’ve been distracting yourself, and who is profiting from your trance. When you see that it’s the one percent profiting—that the one percent is standing atop the ninety-nine—you realize if we all shift, the one percent will fall.

We Serve It, Even When It’s Hard to Swallow: Current headlines and talking points filtered for your consumption and, sanitized for your protection…

This Friday, October 7th is a black day in broadcast journalism. It is the day that some will observe the fifteenth anniversary of the launch of Rupert Murdoch’s propaganda beast known as the Fox News Channel. In 1996, Murdoch put television veteran Roger Ailes in charge of the new network and the rest is right-wing history.

Unlike the network Coulter appeared on when she made her dimwit statement, the protesters do not control or posses an “all-encompassing propaganda” outlet. The “Occupy” movement relies on social media, grassroots networking and (finally) limited mainstream media exposure.

Not satisfied with their current picks of the litter, they’ve been hoping against hope that Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), Koch brothers darling and rude jackass extraordinaire, will jump in the race and save them all from their own nightmarish insanity that is manifesting itself in the form of their batshit crazy candidates, as they slowly approach the harsh realization that batshit crazy will never get elected.
Cue panic mode…
