GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann was given a reality check by members of the Occupy Wall Street movement on Thursday when she attempted to give a foreign policy speech aboard the USS Yorktown in South Carolina. Just as Bachmann began her prepared remarks, a majority of the audience stood and began to shout down the Tea Party extremist via the OWS ‘Human Microphone’ broadcast system. After several tense moments, a visibly distressed Bachmann was led from the stage by a police officer.
