We Serve It, Even When It's Hard To Swallow

James Robison tells Glenn Beck that the powers and principalities of “the enemy” are using Hollywood and shows like “Glee” to bring America down.

So I guess it becomes a game of trying to interpret Stephen’s wishes from his on-air appearances (similar to Newt Gingrich’s recent plea through the press to his Super PAC to pull or correct their recent hit piece on Mitt Romney), like his weekend interview with George Stephanopoulos, where Colbert mentioned something about Queen Isabella, Italy, and the spice routes, which Jon interpreted as a call to blow a wad of money on a meal prepared by top celebrity chef Mario Batali.

One of the more hysterical asides of the Republican circus act, better known as the GOP presidential primary season, is watching the non-Mittens candidates fall all over themselves as they try to take the seemingly intractable, life-size Ken Doll/Human/Alien hybrid down. While no one is thrilled with Mitt Romney, least of all the voters, his competition still can’t seem to topple him.

Last week, the late night host challenged his viewers to videotape their kids opening an early Christmas gift. But not just any gift. It had to be something terrible or completely wrong as a child’s gift. The results are hysterical!

Hilarious! – A Weekend Update match-up between Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler. This is pure television gold…

It really is kind of disturbing to think that Newt Gingrich is sitting atop the polls in the race for the GOP presidential nomination, because he’s just…bad. He’s ill-tempered, mean-spirited, self-serving, self-aggrandizing, and every word that comes crawling out of his mouth just oozes with contempt and dickishness.

Norwegians have depleted their butter reserves due to a high-fat, low-carb diet craze that sent butter sales skyrocketing by 30% in November alone. Now, they have no butter. Nothing to bake with, nothing to spread on their warm toast in the morning, nothing to yummy-up their veggies with…So sad!

Jon Stewart and John Oliver spar in the latest edition of The Daily Show’s “Indecsion 2012,” taking on the ABC News Iowa Debate and Mitt Romney’s $10,000.00 bet. Oliver encourages Mitt Romney to use his enormous wealth to finish Rick Perry once and for all.

In their minds, the constant onslaught of Christmas imagery, programming and commercials during the months of November and December is simply not good enough; the salutation of “Happy Holidays” is a slap in the face to their sweet Baby Jesus and an insult to their religion, because, according to them, it’s their world, we’re just living in it.

Veteran impersonator and Saturday Night Live cast member Darrell Hammond returned to the weekly variety show last night to reprise his spot-on impersonation of bloated billionaire Donald Trump in a spoof on Fox News and Greta Van Susteren, brilliantly played by Kristen Wiig.

Baldwin posed as an airline pilot in a segment on Weekend Update, offering an apology from the airline, while calling himself an “American treasure.”

Fox News has begun it’s annual fear fest over a non-existent “war on Christmas” by those godless liberals, using the most ridiculous examples to frighten their misinformed audience that everyone but Republicans are out to kill Santa, stomp on baby Jesus, and ruin the holidays for everyone else. Jon Stewart took the airwaves on Tuesday to mock and debunk the anti-Christmas propaganda…

In this segment from 1994, Moore takes note of the fact that Cobb County, Georgia, home to outspoken “big government” critic Newt Gingrich, was at the time, the third largest recipient of federal funds. The show then tries to relieve Cobb County of government interference by closing its federally funded highways, schools, sewer system, and senior center.

“It starts with one person making a decision — that things need to change, and they’re going to help change them. That person finds another person who shares their values. They go out and find a few more. And before long, neighborhoods come together. Communities organize. A movement builds. It all starts with you, making a decision to get involved — because we’ve got SO much more to do.”

…the conservative hate monger was discussing her support for Mitt Romney and political consistency when it appeared that the network cut off her microphone as she supposedly called John McCain a “douchebag.” She then continued with her Romney support by insulting the memory of the late Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts.
